Montessori Teachers & Staff

Mater Amoris Montessori teachers, and staff are experienced educators, committed to the development of each student. They guide children in their learning and facilitate classroom community building, creating an engaging, empowering, and productive learning environment.

Head of School

Alicia Davis Enright will lead Mater Amoris as Head of School. Alicia is AMI-trained and was most recently at the Barrie School, where she was the Upper Elementary Program Chair, a trainer, and teacher of 4th-5th grades. She was formerly the Elementary Program Directress at Lone Oak Montessori, teaching 1st-6th grades. Prior to Montessori, Alicia was a strategic consultant for high education clients. She lives with her family in the Colesville area, and her three-year old daughter will join the Primary class. In her free-time she enjoys spending time with friends and family, being in the great outdoors (especially at the beach and in the woods), playing games, and reading. She also greatly enjoys exercise and like many of us, strives to find time to fit it in her daily life.

Staff & Faculty

Mater Amoris Montessori teachers each hold a Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree, and an AMI (Association Montessori Internationale) Primary and/or Elementary Diploma. A music teacher, a P.E. instructor, classroom assistants, and day care providers are also on staff.

"Our children have become independent, confident, and creative thinkers. We can’t thank the staff enough for giving our children a strong foundation that will serve them for the rest of their lives."
